The Disability Equality Index (DEI) is a benchmarking tool allowing America’s leading corporations to self-report their disability policies and practices. Each company that chooses to be measured by this scale receives a score of 0 to 100 — with 100 representing the most inclusive businesses. Several of these companies have locations in New Jersey.
However, there are other corporations who may also rank high on this scale but did not apply to be assessed. It pays to do research. This is a place to begin. For more information, go to www.disabilityequalityindex.org.
